Firmus Gas top up

Does anyone have any idea when Firmus are going to let its keypad customers top up on line? And develop an app for the phone, as Power NI do?

Don't use top up cards but was wondering - when you buy some gas on a top up card and feed it into your meter, is it possible to have a second card so you could have one feeding the meter and the other on standby to swop over when card 1 runs out?

You don't leave the card in, you take it out, once it gives a beep. But you can buy a second one at the Paypoint shop. It is a pity you can only top up £49 at one time.

So effectively you could remove the card from the meter get it topped up asap and have it at home ready to reload when needed? Save you having to go out in your nightie

Yes you could, but it would be much handier, if I could top up on line, or on my phone.

I agree - but I guess as they are the lower priced gas company - they have not the cash to initiate an online service. I guess your option is to change supplier - pay more - and have the facilities you would require.
