I always do table presents and have just bought 6 Nivea Luscious lips tins (3 for 2) from Very, to pick up locally, using Topcashback. They worked out at less than £2.50 as I am a new customer. They seem to get good reviews and hopefully will be a nice little gift on the day.

What a lovely idea - and a bargain too!
Its just me and DH for dinner this year (our choice - first year we've been married) and I was planning to put a gift in his cracker - maybe tickets or something.
We always open our presents before lunch (well, pretty much before breakfast tbf!) so it would be a nice way of extending it.0 -

That will be a lovely way to spend your first married Christmas. There are so many ways you can make it memorable and special, a lovely walk if the weather allows, an extended breakfast, something different from normal, a special dvd (did you have one of your wedding?) after lunch.
We can't all be together on Christmas Day itself but will go to my son and his wife's house where we will probably have Hungarian food, yummy. A few days later we do the whole Christmas thing at our house for everyone. I spend months seeking out bargains for table presents as we have a secret santa for the main present, i.e. we each pick a name out of a hat to buy a gift for, with a price limit. I just like to make it extra special with the table gifts.
So far, this is what I have bought:
For the men: Stackers valet trays (half price in John Lewis sale in the summer).
For the women: I haven't decided who will be having what but I have, John Lewis sewing kits, Cath Kidston kitchen notepads, 2014 pink Collins diaries, the Nivea lip tins, some mini Hope in a Jars, and goodness knows what other bits I will find when I get my box out!
For the 3 children, aged 5, 4 and 2, well they have lots of (bargain) toys and books for under the tree but I need to think of something so they won't feel left out of the table presents thing, probably something edible.0 -
I love the idea of going for a walk!
In fact, DH's aunt was worried about finding time to walk her lab on Christmas Day as she is cooking for friends. She lives nearby so maybe we could offer to take him for a stroll.0
