Is This Website Safe To Buy A Playstation 4

Options
Hiya everyone I'm after buying the new ps4 and I'm wanting to get it pretty much on release day. I've found a website called alpinelectronicsltd.co.uk and they have it where you'll receive it between the 29/11/13 and 05/12/13. It's for the console and fifa 14 and it's £339.99 Id just like to know if anyone knows if this is a legit site and safe to buy?

To view the website, please copy and paste into the search bar.

Thanks

It looks like the site was registered in September, in a "service office" (which from memory basically means a fancy post office box, without it being obvious it's a post office box type arrangement).

So I wouldn't touch it with someone else's bargepole.

Richard if it is, it's probably not going to work that well given the sort of replies anyone asking about buying from a newly registered site is going to get :) (IE like mine, saying not to do it).

Possibly, I've posted else where and can't find anyone who has used them, I think I'll just wait until I recieve my pre ordered 1 from game, safest option

When dealing with something of this size it's better to stick to a hand full of companies - general rule of thumb, the less you've heard about a retailer, the smaller their allocation of stock. (the reverse isn't always true though - I'd be wary of supermarkets as I've heard more than a few people saying big blue have let them down this week!)

You also have to remember every business has to start somewhere, less the companies been heard of could also mean they have plenty of unsold stock

Yes I know, but that starting point does not include a product with a price starting at £350 in an industry where there's more than enough small value purchases with which to build a reputation. The way it works is that in the gaming industry they're highly likely to support retailers who they (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) trust & have a regular relationship with. If at the end of the process they're left with "leftover" stock it would then filter down to smaller operations, however the notion of "leftover" stock filtering down the system that far is lunacy. The major retailers of these items have waiting lists so any stock which will appear as such will be snapped up by them at the earliest opportunity.

It's a rule of thumb here that with the highest purchase price you ALWAYS go to established retailers without question, that offers maximum protection for you & your money.
