Stretford/ Manchester Holiday deals, Shop or online?

Hi Folks, I have a couple of weeks booked off very soon and thinking about just taking a week abroad somewhere, just want a typical canaries/tenerife type thing, S/C with a flight will do nicely

Have looked online at some deals for last minute type sites and also wondering am I likely to get one of these locally anywhere or am i better off online? And any recommendations if so?

Never done this spur of the moment thing on my own before with a holiday so I'm trying to narrow the odds down a bit !
