Help needed with Mortgage application

Dear all
I have recently applied for a mortgage, I am 24 years old, earn £21,000 a year and have no real debts (student debt aside). I given two principle agreements of between 92,500 and 99,750. This was in my name alone.
I have since made an offer on a property and had it accepted at £150,000 and realised that as the mortgage is in my name, then so will the house have to be also. The issue I have is that I intend on putting my girlfriends name on the house also as we will pay the mortgage payments together.
My girlfriend is a NHS nurse. She has a part time (30 hours a week) contract for 12 months. She earns £21,348 pro rata. I was previously advised that I should not add her to my mortgage application as she would be classfied as a dependant as she does not have 3 months pay slips as yet and only has a years contract. My girlfriend would be paying £10,000 into the deposit.
I hope I have shed some light on this issue. I am looking to arrange a meeting with my mortgage advisor ASAP to resolve the matter.
Thanks

If she is paying part of the deposit she would have to be named on the application. Reason being if she is not on it then the deposit would have to be declared as a gift - but it would be a gift that comes with ties (ie she lives in the property) - lenders would not accept this.
How long has she been there?
When is it due for renewal?
What is the purchase price?
