20.06.07 What small DFW thing will you do /have you done today? (day off for Hypno!)

Hi everyone,

I thought I would give Hypno a break today and start the thread as I couldn't find it anywhere.

______________

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I will:

- Do work expenses
- pay chunk off last credit card
- send off application for business bank account so I can pay my first cheque in!
- fill out applications for Corp Tax(!)
- Get something out of the freezer for lunch
- Have a no spend day!

Have a good day everyone xx
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

    Today I will:

Work out our budgets for the coming month (it's payday, woo!)

Leave the car at home and walk everywhere
Avoid buying lunch by somehow making something edible from the contents of our cupboards

That's about it for today :D

    I will

    1. Use free email instead of texting my friends
    2. Try and have a no spend day by distracting myself with chores to do around the house (what fun)
    3. Make payment to credit card
    4. Resist ordering pizza and make a home made one instead
