Hi Guys,
I am on JSA and am working 6 hrs. My employer works on
4 weekly pay slips. Because they only have 4 staff and it's just 6hrs, 4 weeks is a long time to wait for 24hrs pay, they say they can pay cash each week as long as we sign for it and receive our payslip with our 4th weeks pay. I don't have a problem with that but, has anyone else experienced this practice?.
Any advice would be great. Thanks

It's nothing I've experienced, but seems reasonable to me.

I would say that in effect they are giving you an advance on your pay for 3 weeks then paying the remainder of what would be due for 4 weeks work in the 4th week. I can't see that it's anything to be concerned about as long as the payslip accurately reflects what you were actually paid overall.0
