Thanks Browntoa - was hoping they were going to do this again.
Thanks also Millerose - good idea to keep the offers separate.
It was only by reading about it on the Grabbit board last month that I knew to give the coupons before the scanning started. I assume it's because of how their tills are set - I remember when Aldi first opened here their checkout people used to have to know the price of each item and ring it up rather than just scanning too.:DIt's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -

good deal,,,,but off topic, beware of parking eye who operate the car park in aldi, total scumbags, they put FAKE fines on your car or through post, its a scam, just go to,,parking tickets and fines on this forum,,and search aldi,,,they are very aware of whats going on but refuse to do anything about it.
I think this depends on the Aldi, our local one has a car park owned by Aldi, where as the one in the next town over doesn't but is next to a council owned pay and display car park. I guess this may be the issue as I noticed lots of signs in their windows saying you need to pay to park on the car park as they do not own it. But always good to be reminded to park legally.0 -

Yes it is how the till works. They have to scan the item then press the relevant 30/50 per cent button. If they don't get the vouchers till the end they then have to error the item, then re scan the item and press the relevant per cent button. Thanks Browntoa - was hoping they were going to do this again.
