I have recently got a job part time and even though I am slightly worse off financially, I decided to take the job after being out off work for 2 yrs for the simple reason, ( I cant be unemployed any more) I cant handle it and its a recent reference if nothing else.

Anyway,

I am on the WP and do not want them, the WP, to know my who my employer is going to be, they have done NOTHING!! to help me but am sure they will want to claim some kind of premium.

My question is can I just sign off without giving the Jobcentre my future employer details, but give a date for the end of my claim for JSA?, will I be paid up till this date?.

Others with more knowledge will be along soon but my understanding is that you can sign off JSA without providing any more information. The WP may hassle you - as you say they want to be paid their bonus but you don't have to answer them.

WP providers are paid most of their fee on the provision of evidence of employment. You can do what you like, they will try to get this infomrmation. It is not a premium or bonus, it is their fee. If you dont help them there are no penalties to you though.

Just complete your green ES40 and state you no longer want to claim, dont give the reason other than found work. JCP really have no need to ask anything else. WP on the other hand will want to know so just refuse to tell them. If you give JCP the details they are obliged to pass it so so simply found work will suffice.
