Morgan Stanley - phone harassment

I'm not kidding.. these a*****les are ringing me at 8:30pm... 8.30am... all through the day on both phones.. as soon as the house phone stops ringing the mobile goes... I am fuming.
I have three kids and the morning is stressful, as is the evening around bed time. I feel like chucking the house phone away and cancelling the mobile.
This isn't on. I am doing my best to be polite but this is harassment. It is every day, even though I have told them several times they will receive a payment on the 1st of July through Payplan.
Can I do anything in the mean time to stop this harassment. It is unnerving me. It makes me furious.
the phone calls aren't even for me !!!!!!.. they're for my husband who will occasionally deal with them but not at anti social hours.
Isn't there a law about phone harassment or something?
EDIT: Found this.. but what can I do about it?

Sue them for causing anxiety?!

Unplug/Switch off the phones in the morning, and write to them - stop talking to them over the phone.
When you have managed to get through your morning, plug the phone back in and wait for them to call, note down what you need to say to them and leave by the phone/in your handbag.
Regardless of their attempts to bully, you need to clearly state the following:
"We are seeking to settle our debts through Payplan as you are clearly aware. Your continuous phone calls amount to Harassment. Please remove all phone numbers from your records and cease contacting me via this method. I wish for any future communication to be via letter only. If you continue to phone me in this manner, you will be in contravention of The Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Any future phone calls will be logged as court proof of this harassment fact. Is this clear to you caller?" Thank them and say goodbye and you look forward to receiving their letter.
You should then follow-up this phone call immediately with the following letter send recorded delivery:
__________________________________________
By Recorded Delivery
Dear Sir,
Ref. XXXXX
Despite my request that I require ALL communications from your company to be in writing, your telephone calls continue.
This behaviour constitutes harassment; I have stated quite clearly to you that I require ALL communications in writing for future Court use. Do not telephone me again - remove any telephone numbers you hold for me from your systems.
Your telephone calls are in breach of the Office of Fair Trading guidelines. If you continue with them after the receipt of this letter an official complaint, together with a log recording the times and frequency of the calls will be passed both to that office and to the Trading Standards office. For your information note that ALL telephone calls are taped.
This type of debt collection method is contrary to the ‘Administration of Justice Act 1970’ in that it is intended to cause alarm and distress to the recipient. Your methods will not be tolerated. A formal complaint, containing copies of all correspondence including yours, has now been submitted to the relevant authorities. This will be relevant to questions of your fitness to hold a licence under the Consumer Credit Act, whether or not it results in a prosecution.
Take further note that continued telephone calls after the receipt of a request not to call may constitute a criminal offence under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.
Communicate in writing and ONLY in writing, your telephone calls will NOT be answered.
HOWEVER, CALLS WILL TRIGGER COMPLAINTS TO THE REGULATORY BODIES.
I trust that I have made myself understood on this matter,
Yours faithfully,
______________
Thanks to the originator of this letter who posted this up for another OP.
Hope that helpsThanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

You could ring BT or your phone provider and also get the number barred or withhold witheld numbers - depends if they leave a number or not.
When our debts were out of our reach I had my phone numbers changed and only deal with companies in writing - we all coped without phones years ago - thing is companies know that people feel pressured on the phone and agree to things. So its always better routinely to deal in letter form- well better for us sod banks!0
