Dolce Gusto pods at Asda - on offer or not?

Hi all, I hope this is the right board.

I bought a second hand dolce gusto machine on ebay yesterday, and so I was pleased to see that according to their website the pods are on offer at Asda. Except, when I went to buy them they weren't on offer.

Does anyone know if they are on offer in store, or if it's only online? I could go to a different, bigger Asda, but it's right on the other side of the city and a looong way out of my way, I'd probably spend more on diesel than I'd save.

Or if anyone knows anywhere else to get them cheaply that'd be great. I'm sick of bad coffee and want to get going with decent stuff that's not three quid a cup in a cafe, sorry, caffeine based drinks specialist crafter's retail experience outlet.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

  • Hi, I was in the Asda at Pudsey yesterday and the Dolce Gusto pods were definitely on offer there - 3 for £10.
  • Only seems to be in the larger stores.

  • If you want to buy regular ly, you can get it on subscribe and save at Amazon.
Dolce Gusto website often has offers on pods, sign up for their Newsletters and they send through the deals.
    HTH.

That's the one on the other side of town, I might go over later on as there's a couple of other offers I want to take advantage of.

What's classed as a larger store? The one I went to yesterday isn't huge, but it's got a cafe, pharmacy, opticians, clothing department and is called a superstore, so I would have expected them to have offers? If it's not the case then I've been wasting my time going there assuming that it'll have a full range of offers, and possibly missing out on stuff.

I've signed up with Dolce Gusto, hopefully there'll be some offers - I don't think I can use the current one as it's for people who register their machine and mine's second hand. I do want some of the 'not in stores' pods though.

I'd never heard of subscribe and save, I'll go have a look at that now, thanks.

Beware that a lot of the pod flavours only seen to be available via the dolce gusto website. But they do have good customer service, it might be worth calling them and see if they'll give you the £10 credit free xxx
  • I got some pods today £2.65 a box...... bargain!! From the cooperative. The prices varied from £2.55-£2.95 but the cheapest ive seen! Failing that try dolce gusto website!
