calories is 2100 for someone wanting to maintain their weight.

Are they not timing you on the applications now? I had to time myself when I applied and say how many minutes it took to complete all the test questions in total (doing them all in one session)

I've read it's 2000 calories for a woman, 2500 for a man - to maintain your weight (although it will differ to some degree based on the person's metabolism).

With regard to Irnbru - it reminds me of a friend of mine who's mother used to drink. At times she lived for weeks at a time on beer alone (no food). :(

I would expect that the sugar content of irnbru would give you short bursts of energy that water obviously wouldn't, but it would depend on how often you drank it.

It would end up causing problems though, upset blood sugar levels etc. In terms of how long though - at least a few weeks.

HI, i annoyingly did the test last week and failed - bit annoyed at why as my spelling and grammer was good and i also kept to the character limit. The one thing i am wondering about which might have made me fail is that when it asks for where you got ur info from i simply put google/ wikipedia etc. I didnt actually put a link.Is this what might have knackered it for me? i did also miss out one question as i simply couldnt find the answer.

F1re_cr4cker, I also failed on my first attempt, although did include links to my sources. Most of my sources where google and wiki though so maybe they thought I wasn't varied enough with my searches (either that or they thought my answers were really carp :rotfl:)

I applied again yesterday and got the application through this morning, different questions this time and harder

Why don't you try and apply again and get some help answering the questions from the lovely people on here?

    Good luck!
