Was the valuer an employee of the bank or independent?
If it was an independent valuation, the valuer will be able to tell you which lenders will lend on that type of property.
Give them a call

My financial advisor said I only could get a subprime... The rates are really bat and I need to pay 11 month interests in I leave them within the first 6 years.. how bad is that!!!!

See another whole of market mortgage adviser and ask them if they can find a better lender and a cheaper product.

What do you mean?

It does not sound like you have been getting fantastic service, if one minute you can't get the mortgage agreed because of the build type, and then all of a sudden you are sub prime and locked in with hefty penalties
Have a word with another fee free whole of market adviser and see what kind of deals they can find for you

Hi
Have a look at Martin's guide to mortgages and re-mortgages. :money:
We are in the process of re-mortgaging and are using London and Country for the second time. http://www.lcplc.co.uk/
Always found them to be excellent and they are whole of market (except the very few that wont use brokers)
Hope this helps

Give your local colley's / countrywide / eserve surveyor a call.
They will tell you if they have said the buidling is fit for mortgage purposes. You can present the answers to a whole of market broker and they will go from there.0
