Just thought I'd share our cheap favour idea - we've used Vasen vases from Ikea (69p each) and painted each guests' name on with silver glass leading (bought a bottle for about £2 from hobbycraft and have used about half of it on 90 vases), and then put silver petals in them (these cost us about £5 for enough for 90 vases, but you could also use flowers or candles or coloured sand or something!). We are then putting these on the tables so they will double up as table decorations and name placings too 
In all it's cost us just under 70 quid for 90 ish guests
