shared mortgage with credit problems

Myself and 3 friends looking to buy a place, 2 or 3 of us dont have brilliant credit ratings. We have regularly missed payments on credit cards and 1 of us has 1 or it might be 2 satisfied defaults.

Can we get a mortgage? Who should we be looking at ie what company? What kind of deposit would we need and what kind of rates would we be looking at.
