afraid to ask for help

Does anyone think its weird to find it easier to ask certain people for help than others ?
I'm unemployed at the moment, on work programme and a big barrier for me is asking for help with applications or anything I'm stuck on. I get frustrated because I expect to know stuff and feel daft if I don't.
But the biggest thing is not being that comfortable asking everyone in my provider. I see other candidates come in they will just go up to anyone and ask them questions. Frustrates me because I wish I could be like that, been on numerous confidence building courses but they never seem to make a difference
Could being on tablets for both anxiety and depression contribute to it and could It be something I might just have to put up with ?
College was the same 3 teachers for one subject, but only felt comfortable enough with one of them to ask for help
I dont know why and feel hopeless

I think it gets easier as we get older and more experience, different personalities make the world go round x
I recently got friendly with an older lady nearing retirement who has been on the work programme a long time and she didn't half make me blush what she was saying! just had the life experience, respects0 -
Thought it might get easier after I finished 6th form, 23 now and still hard as ever0
