Received an email with the words "invitation to interview" sorry for such a stupid question:o

An invitation to interview normally has a date, time and location - where the interview will be held

Yes it means interview, as above should include details though sometimes emails can be sent to call or reply back to arrange is this you OP? if there is no job title of sender, contact details or is unexpected, I get iffy and spam bells start0
