Does anyone play this game? I am a moderate WWE fan and watch a couple of PPV's a year (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania etc). My friend has just got the game and it trying to persuade me to get it. I just wanted to hear from anyone that has the game on their opinions. What are the best features of the game?
Also does anyone know the cheapest place to buy this?
Thanks in advance

Not a very big WWE fan, but i got this game the other day and played for around 20 minutes.. Didn't like it at all! Terribly made IMO!
I haven't played wwe games for a while so all i could compare to was Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006.. and tbh, i would rather play that!

Why not rent it first to see if you would like it or not.0

I don't think I've ever rented a game in my life! Something to consider though. GlasgowTech that would be great if BB did that, will have to look for a store near me!0

A quarter of the stores are closing so yes why not give it a try.0 -
A mate of mine recommended it to me so I picked it up a few days ago - got quite lucky as I was able to get one of the pre-order copies that contained the Ultimate Warrior as a playable character.
Gameplay is pretty basic. The last wrestling game I played was one of the Smackdown vs Raw games (2011 I think) and the controls have changed a bit since then but it's not particularly complex and the actual gameplay is a little bit of a frustrating reversal game and it feels more like a basic beat-em-up from the SNES/Mega Drive era than a recent release.
That said, if you're nostalgic for some of the older times of pro-wrestling (as a kid I grew up watching wrestling from the Hulkamania era through to the Attitude/nWo era) then the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode is quite entertaining and the roster is pretty beefy. The Universe mode I can see having some appeal but probably not as much as the campaign mode.
I'm not interested in playing it online so I can't comment on that.0
