none payment of DOE (DOE now taken off???) help!

Hi all. I am hoping someone can help me as i feel really desperate right now and i have had enough.
To cut a very long story short i contacted the CSA last week yet again as i hadnt recieved any maintenence for over 3 months which as my ex is having the money taken out of his wages in a DOE i should be recieving.
I was told that they have now cancelled the DOE as my ex has said he will pay it via standing order. (bear in mind thet the reason the DOE was set up over 2 years ago was because my ex never ever bothered to pay maintenece owed or even bothered to fill in any forms they sent him.
I wasnt happy and was trying to find out over the phone why the csa didnt ever inforce the DOE as every time i have ever phoned them they have said they would send an officer out to do an interview under caution as the employers were the ones with holding the payments but they never actually bothered to do anything about it. I was told by the man in debt management to shut up while he was talking (yes he did actually say those very words) he also said that they had taken the DOE off to see if they could get the payments sent out faster seeing as i am soooooo desperate for the money! and yes he really did say that too.
I was furious and to be honest i still cannot discuss the rest of the conversation as i am so horrified that i was treated that way and it has really upset me to the point where i have felt sick all week and havnt slept.
Now what i need to know is what i can do from here? Is it legal to just cancel a DOE when there is still moneys outstanding? and as they havnt bothered to enforce the DOE with the employers can i take this further?
I am so so fed up i cant even explain, I have stayed and raised our lovely daughter so why am i made to feel like the scum of the earth?
Any help would be appreciated asi just dont know what to do now for the best.

The DEO should be kept in place. Obviously your ex has no intention of setting up the SO and it's a ruse to avoid his responsibilities.

So they are sending a F to F officer to interview his employers? If the employers is not complying with the DEO, they can and should be prosecuted.

Once again, you need to speak with an CRO about this and contact your MP. You need to put a complaint letter together.

As for the man's rudeness, put that in your complaint via your MP too.

I would phone the man up again, informing him of your action.It just doesn't make sense what he has decided to do.

Absolutely agree sensemaya - how dare a caseworker speak to a customer like that?!!! Why haven't they referred the case to the criminal compliance team for them to send an officer into the employer's address? What on Earth are they playing it. COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN COMPLAIN!!!!!

I agree with the above posts!! Complain like hell...there is no way anyone should be talking to PWC's or even NRP's that way!!
