Batiste VIP: Product trial Terms & Conditions

General
[*]Batiste VIP registration and product trials are open to UK residents aged 16 and over only.
[*]Batiste VIP product trials are not open to employees (or members of their families) of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, their agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
[*]Batiste VIP trialists may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this promotion.
[*]Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
[*]Information and data ‘personal data’, which is provided by entrants when they enter will be held and used only by the Promoter, their suppliers and contractors in order to administer product trials unless an entrant agrees to receive further marketing information from Batiste. Personal data will not be shared with third parties.
[*]The name and county of the selected trialists will be available upon request by sending a self-addressed envelope to the Promoter; Church & Dwight UK Ltd, Premier House, Shearway Business Park, Pent Road, Folkestone. CT19 4RJ

Registration to become a Batiste VIP trialist
[*]Registration to become a Batiste VIP trialist is made by submitting your name, a valid email address and delivery address details as requested on the Batiste Facebook entry page.
[*]Only one entry will be allowed per person. Internet access and a valid facebook account is required to register to become a Batiste VIP and participate in product trials.
[*]By registering to become a Batiste VIP, registrants are confirming their permission to be selected to participate in Batiste product trials, to be sent information about trials by email and for trial materials to be sent to them via their registered address.
[*]No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No bulk entries.
[*]By registering to become a Batiste VIP, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.
[*]The promoter reserves the right to refuse incomplete entries.
[*]The decision of the promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Product Trials
[*]For each new product trial, trialists will be selected at random from all current registrations and under independent supervision.
[*]Registrants will be notified by email if they have been successful to take part in a trial.
[*]Registrants that are selected to become trialists will be given instructions on what is required to complete a given trial upon confirmation that they have been selected to participate.
[*]The closing date for the trial will be confirmed by email when the participant is notified that they have been selected to take part.
[*]Trial materials can only be sent to the address confirmed by the registrant at the point of registration.

Rewards
[*]Where a reward is offered for participation in a product trial, this will be communicated to the trialists upon confirmation that they have been selected to partcipate. There is no cash alternative to rewards. Rewards are non-transferable. If a reward becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the reward with equivalent value.
[*]The promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of a reward.
[*]No responsibility can be taken for reward claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be proof of receipt.

Liability
[*]The Promoter shall assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for:
[*]

• incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate entry information whether caused by a registrant, by any equipment or programming associated or utilised in product trials, or by any human error, which may occur in the processing of the registrations; or
• any technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, networks, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, incomplete or garbled transmissions, or failure of email or media for any reason; or
• any injury or damage to any computer, computer accessory, software, or any other technology used by the registrant.

[*]Entrants agree to release Church & Dwight UK Ltd, the Promoter and their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, agents and employees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, from any and all liability, claims for damages arising out of the registrant’s participation in the trial, the use of any registration details as stated herein and the acceptance and use of any reward (s).
[*]Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
