So here I am on holiday and I take advantage of the free Wi-Fi in the room. I thought I would enter some FB comps but I am prompted for a captcha code because I am in a new location. I enter this successfully only to be told that a code has been sent to my mobile which I need to complete the security check.
I don't like using my mobile abroad so I am now stuffed.
Surely I am not the only one to go abroad and use FB without a mobile?

I've changed my facebook username to NOBODY so when I enter FB comps I press the "Like" button it will say NOBODY likes this

That does sound quite annoying. When I was on holiday in France a couple of months ago I had to enter captchas for every competition I did on Facebook (very time-consuming!), but it didn't ask me to verify with my mobile. I hadn't twigged it was because I was abroad until now, d'oh!0

Yes thats right sometimes i go round my mum and dads and we have a family comping night, and when i try and sign into fb on their pc, i have to verify my details with a code they send to my mobile, so its not just when youre abroad.Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0
