Mortgage guarantee scheme

Hi there
I'm a newbie to this but I am unsure if I am eligible for the new mortgage guarantee scheme or not. I have owned 2 houses before but have sold them now and the latter house at a loss of all my equity as bought at the top end of the market then the recession hit and then changed jobs. So sold and have been renting for the last couple of years. Have managed to build a deposit again and have a well paid job. So am I eligible as I have a 5% deposit can afford the repayment mortgage per month. Thank you

If the lenders will lend to you, you are eligible. This isn't like the equity loan scheme where you have to be checked out by the HCA HomeBuy Agent, it is a normal mortgage application process.I am a mortgage broker.
