in Cutting tax
Hi
I have stopped working for tax year 2013/2014 and have overpaid tax therefore am filling in a P50 to claim for repayment of tax.
In the first section one of the questions asks about the type of income I have received since I left my last employer and to select from part time, casual, state pension, self-employed and works/occupational pension. They are all N/A to me so will leave this blank.
Another question asks for the amount of income received since my last employment. Do I fill in £0 as I did not work since leaving my last employer? Seems a bit odd as there is nowhere else in the form that allows me to fill in the amount I earned throughout 2013-2014. Will the P45 I have to send in with the P50 take care of this?
Thanks for the help in advance.

That's the point of the P50 to capture any taxable income since the P45 and declare there will be no more(or perhaps just pensions).
So no more earned income or taxable benefits like JSA will be claimed.0 -
Thank you for your reply.
I have also just called HMRC this morning who have also indicated those questions above will have to be left blank by me and to let the P45 take care of the rest.
