Repeat late payment on monthly wages

Hi guys I hope you can give me some advice for my sister .
She is a lone parent with two children at home and has a part time job cleaning in a local hotel .
She is supposed to be paid monthly on the last day of the month but nearly every month this year they have paid the staff late .
more often than not have given no advance warning or even an explanation as to why or even when the funds will go in .
the first couple of times it was only a week late but this time it was nearly two weeks .
As a lone parent she already struggles to juggle her income and this has pushed her over the edge .
originally they were willing to give part payments in cash to cover direct debits but now they are even having to fight to get those .
as a result of this she tried to get a loan online via a broker lender and has been charged lots of fees so now the problem is even worse .
She is already dreading Christmas as they normally get paid on christmas eve .
surely they are breaking the contract of employment by not paying her on the correct date ?
Can she complain to anyone about this ?
They have even changed the name of the hotel twice but kept the same owners it all sounds very wrong to me ? but they are expected to keep on working even though they have not been paid for the month before .
thanks for reading

line up a new job, then speak to the existing employer0

As an employee I would be very worried right now about the viability of my employers business. I would be looking for another job as already said. If the co goes into receivership she should be paid but if not she could have a problem getting redundancy/any payment from them. Have they changed the name of the hotel or the business name it functions under?0
