I need to get some trekking sandals - comfort over style (although both would be nice
)
I'm a size 5 to 6 - has anyone got any recommendations for make and model?
Many thanks

What do you want them to do for you? If you actuall want to trek,off tarmac path and any where stony you really need books ( or at the very least shoes) for foot protection. Good socks (coolmax etc) will make walking in boots in summer tolerable too).
If you just want them to pound pavements or walks on made paths then I have a merrell pair that are great (kahuna maybe??) but TBH now I would do everything I would do in these in a pair of crocs:p :rotfl: (as long as theyaren't my oldest pair with no treat on!). I find even the merrells that where my most comfy secure sandals dont compare with the crocs. In fact I could really ebay them:rolleyes:0 -
Got boots for the rocky stuff but needed trekking sandals for pounding the streets

This is what I have and they are pretty good.

I just find them a bit hot after my crocs- but then I find absolutely everything that is close fitted the same so I wouldn't let that sway you! They are extremely hard wearing and the sticky rubber soles are great.0 -
I really liked my Teva Terri Fi's:

Only problem I have is the grooves in the soul accumulate dirt and dead skin and can be difficult to clean... Whilst they are antibacterial they can still smell after a while. Maybe I should wear socks...
I guess you will probably have similar problems with any sport sandal with deep grip on the soul?0 -
Get yourself down Sports World where you can pick up a pair of Karrimoor sandals pretty cheaply, only know this working there (wish I got paid for advertising too!)0

Hi Chall - Was looking at the Karrimor Kiwi in Millets today they were £34.95. Don't have a sports world near me - do they have a website?
Meatballs - noooooooo don't wear socks -just have smelly feet but not socks and sandals!!!!
Anonymousie - I always thought crocs looked really uncomfy (although I know every one who's got a pair of the 'real thing' raves about them!)
