Hi there,
I am in the process of buying a new house. We had had a survey done (cost £250) and now the wonderful Northern ROck have told me they charge £365 for facilitating, accepting and assessing the valuation report for mortgage purposes!
Surely not, our survey was completed by a company of qualified surveyors. Surely this is daylight robbery! Anyone know who I can avoid paying it?
As the are going to charge us £25 for NOT taking their vastly overpriced building insurance!
Help!
