For your chance to win, listen out between 10am on Monday 24 February and midday on Thursday 27 February.
All you have to do is answer a multiple choice question! You can only enter if you're over 16, the full terms and conditions are below.
To enter, just listen out for the multiple choice question, then text the word GRAND followed by a space then your answer, A, B, C or D to 81215. Entries are limited and cost £1.50 plus your standard network rate.
So for example, if you want to answer C, you would type in the word GRAND, then leave a space, then type in the letter C and text it to 81215.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions must be read in conjunction with Absolute Radio's standard Competition Terms and Conditions which can be found here. By entering Absolute Radio's Grand in your Hand Competition you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should not enter the Competition.
Definitions: "You/your" means you the entrant of the Absolute Radio Competition. "we/us/our" means Absolute Radio.
Cost: £1.50 plus one message at your standard network rate (SNR). SNR usually 10-12 pence. Seek the bill payer's permission before texting.
Entry: SMS messages for entry into our Grand in your Hand Competition must be sent to the short code 81215. Messages must begin with the keyword GRAND followed by a space then your answer, A, B, C or D. Confirmation of message receipt will be sent from 80876. Every third entry is free. Restrictions: Entrants must be aged 16 years old or over.
Timing: Messages are accepted between the following dates and times: Monday 24 February at 10am to Thursday 27 February at 12pm. Early, late, incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted but may still be charged.
Winning: The winner will be drawn at random, after the closing date and time, from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified within 15 minutes of the competition close date and time via the mobile phone number on which their entry was submitted. The winner must answer their phone within 5 rings or we reserve the right to draw another winner. The draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into. For details of winner send an SAE to Absolute Radio's address within two months of the closing date.
Prize: A cheque made out to the winner for the value of £1000. The cheque will be sent within 10 working days of the competition closed providing that the winning entrant has supplied full address details.
Post Event Publicity: The winner is required to fulfil all reasonable requests for publicity by Absolute Radio.
Territory: The SMS service is only available from UK mobile phone numbers.
Technical: Absolute Radio, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any message being lost or delayed.
Data: Absolute Radio will handle all data received in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and reserves the right to contact numbers which enter our Competition from time to time with offers and promotions. If you do not wish to be contacted by Absolute Radio in the future add NOINFO to the end of your message.
Service: Absolute Radio's Grand in your Hand Competition is promoted by TIML Radio Ltd, No.1 Golden Square, London, W1F 9DJ. Any question regarding the legal interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
