Hi - sorry, this isn't a grabbit (it annoys me to see non-grabbits on the grabbit board but I don't no what other board to post it on where the people who are potentially affected will see it), just a thread re the Ugg 'deal' that was posted on the grabbit board last week.

There was a thread on here re Timeout London's £140 Uggs offer. I (as well as quite a few others on here) bought this deal. I paid my £140 on Monday morning and by Monday lunchtime I hadn't received as much as a confirmation email so I called them and they said they'd sent the email but would send it out again. 2 hours later I still hadn't received it so called back again and got it sent to a different email address. I got it within 30 mins. I then used the code and ordered my boots.

I waited all day Tuesday and Wednesday to get an email confirming the purchase and didn't get one so I called them again on Thursday morning and was told someone would call me back by 5.30pm when their office closed. I got no call. I called again on Friday morning and was promised a call back before 5.30pm.............. again, no call back.

I called 4 times today and got no reply. I finally found an email address and queried why I hadn't received at the very least a confirmation that my order had gone through? 4 hours later I got an email back telling me that my order had been cancelled due to the warehouse being unable to fill the orders and that I would be refunded.

So, has anyone who ordered the deal received their boots or an email indicating that they'll get them? Obviously I'm gutted at not getting the boots for the price they had them at but I'm more annoyed at the serious lack of contact from the company - if I hadn't emailed them then I still wouldn't know. Just wanted to see how everyone else had got on.

Can you tell me why it was deleted? Are Timeout London a fraudulent company? Now that the thread's been moved (and I fully appreciate that the grabbit board wasn't technically the correct place but as it's where the original thread was I thought I might get some help from there) I'm concerned it won't reach anyone else affected and I want to know if I'm going to have to fight to get my money back? I already had to point out to them that their assurance that I would get back the £120 + £5.15 p&p was incorrect and that it should be £140 + £5.50

unfortunately I don't know why it was deleted. I can see it has been but there isn't a reason left as to why. You could email them but I don't know if they would be prepared to say.
