From Leicester artist Melissa Hemmings
Leicestershire based pencil portrait artist and illustrator, Melissa Hemmings, is receiving acclaim for her accurate sketches and faithful portrayal of the subjects she undertakes. Recently she was approached by fantasy author, Mark Waters, to provide the artwork for his series of books, The Nousidian Chronicles. Two from the series were published in Summer 2012 and the third is set for release in 2014. She has also had the opportunity to sketch celebrities and for magazines.
Currently working on a set of sketches for an exhibition, she has also recently had her first novel published.
Private personal and pet portrait commissions also undertaken. Starting from £200.
