most reviews seem to be slagging the campaign section of this game. i know the multiplayer has always been the most popular part of this game series. i am just wondering how the campaign compares to the campaign in battlefield 3?

No idea. I've got all the Battlefield games made to date, but total time across all of them for single player is about 15 minutes. Single player on Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 were bad enough to want to even attempt it on 4.
If multiplayer is what you enjoy then BF4 is the way to go.
If you enjoy a good single player game then i'd go for CoD series personally. All your base are belong to us.0 -

CoD isn't worth it for the single player. It's rehashed every time around these days and is only 3-4 hours of play time.0 -
well what it is is we liked the campaign in battlefield 3 even though the campaign isnt popular. so if the current games campaign is at least as good as that one then we may consider the game. dont really care about the multiplayer. multiplayer in games is often too hard and is very time consuming. already got the latest cod.Retrogamer wrote: »No idea. The short answer is I don't know, some dodgy cut scenes/acting aside I enjoyed the SP campaign in BF3 and hope the new one is equally as good.
TBH I only ever buy COD/BF for the SP campaign, albeit I'm always about 2/3 games behind as I wait for the prices to drop, BF3 was the exception as I played a friends copy.
Nothing wrong with ignoring the MP side of these games, theres relatively few army shooter games about that aren't either living in fantasy land or a tactical extreme version e.g. Homeland/Operation Flashpoint.0
