Hi,
I need to get hold of an SLR Digital camera with Flash.
It needs to have a wide lens adapter with a range of 14mm or lower....
Could someone please explain what that last sentence actually means?
And then does anyone have any recommendations?
Budget is around £300

For £300 you will have to go second hand.
Do you mean you want external flash? You won't be able to get a camera with an external flash for £300, my flash on its own cost £200!
Wide angle lenses don't come cheap either!
It might be worth joining a couple of camera forums and seeing if anyone is selling their old kit.0 -
It sounds like you might be buying as a present or on behalf of someone else..is that correct?
If it's for you..what's the end use? What sort of photos do you want to take?
My initial reaction is that you won't get a modern SLR with a lens in the 14mm range easily at £300. Certainly not new - maybe not even at second hand.

Flash is cracking for the money.
What 14mm or lower means, is the view of the lens. It'll be a wide angle lens which are great for landscapes. The higher the number in mm the less the lens can see. A 500mm lens would be a very tight field of view, but great for getting close up to things, wildlife etc...
Most slr,s have built in flash, but the light the flash produces really isn't very nice at all.
Like most have said 2nd hand would be the way to go with a budget of £300. Unless you can tell us what the camera is being used for and we may be able to come up with some other ideas.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
