Help To Buy

Hi Folks,
First time buy here in Scotland.
When the second phase of the help to buy scheme was announced last month I was very excited until I noticed that the Mortgage Guarantee part was only available in England and Wales.
However on looking into it again today I see no reference to this so am getting very confused.
My yes or bo question:
Can someone tell me if I would be able to purchase a house on the open market through the Help to Buy Mortage Guarantee scheme in Scotland?
Cheers

Yes. HTB - Mortgage Guarantee also applies in Scotland.
There are currently only two lenders RBS/NatWest and Halifax.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
