D.I.Y/Gadget Tools?

Options
Hi Everyone,

I'm struggling to think of anything to get my Dad for Christmas this year. He doesn't like aftershave or football and since a heart attack last year chocolates/cheese is kind of out of the question. My dad is a bit of a workaholic, when he's not at work (Gardening) he's fixing something around the garden or house. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any Gadgets/D.I.Y Tools that are not novelty items but would actually be useful to him? Is there anything new on the market? My dad's only 51 but doesn't really look for new gadgets so i'd love to get him something that he will actually use and not have found himself!

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!! :)

  • A couple of years ago I got my fil a tape measure that lit up where the tape comes out, a pencil slotted inside and a notepad on the side of it. It was about a tenner from amazon and was quite handy. If hes out like my FIL, he will be looking where he put his pen and paper down all the time, so this solved the problem.
