Faster payment to HMRC?

I made an FP payment to HMRC on Friday morning, but still hasn't been reflected on my account as at this morning.

How long does it usually take to appear in my account? Should it not have been received and applied by them on Friday?

Applied - I seriously doubt it. They are not a bank

Actually, Faster Payments are only guaranteed to reach the payee by the end of the next working day, so in your case by tonight. In practice of course it's normally a lot quicker.

But yes, I doubt even god knows when HMRC will apply it to your account.
