Cheaper alternatives to paperchase?

I really love paperchase stationary (especially their notebooks) but dont like to pay too much.

Does anyone know of a cheaper place to get pretty and/or unusual stationary?

I dont mind if it's online either.

  • I also love paper chase, their prices aren't so appealing though! Most of my notebooks come from wilkinsons, they have a nice variety of sizes with pretty covers
Although if you're after fabric covered or moleskin etc, you wouldn't find them there

Sainsburys do Moleskine type notebooks and they are sometimes on offer at half price, which is when I buy them.

Thanks, i will look at wilkinsons and sainsburys. I really want something special for my sister, so pretty girly (pink, pastel colours).
  • TKmax usually stock different notebooks, sometimes have some in the clearance section too. The Range stock some nice looking notebooks too some with magnetic fastenings. Homebargains have some pretty looking books, but can't comment on their quality.

  • Bit of hit and miss but The Works also do some nice stationary bits and they are very cheap! I went in last week and they had some lovely notepads. Also, a shop called Tiger does cheap quirky items but they only have a few shops!

Thanks for the ideas :) The downside to living in the countryside is that i dont have access to any of the shops you mentioned, lol.
But i will make a special trip into the city to have a look around. Thanks :)
  • Thanks for starting this thread, was wondering the same thing myself! Went into my local sainsburys today and they had a really good selection of lovely notebooks, many on offer. Couldn't resist one for myself as well as for pressies!
