  • I don't know what I am doing wrong but my listing is nearly going to end and only 10 bids out of the 30 items I put up and I've not made even £40 yet with all the items :(
It's not unreasonable to block bidders that haven't paid for 2 items within the last month I think so I'm sticking with that option. From your experiences what why do you think I don't have many bidders? Thanks in advance.

It either means your stuff is overpriced, or perhaps there is something in your terms and conditions putting people off. You haven't got anything strange like 'not being responsible for losses' have you?

Always check out completed listings as well, not everything sells and it may be just that your item hasn't attracted anyone at that price. If however your item 'always' sells and ti is onyl yours that ahs not, then it is your account.

10 sales in 30 items isn't at all bad though on a private account if you are just selling old second hand things.

  • Steph from what ive read 10 out of 30 isnt that bad. Ive had to suck it up and realise i need rid of the stuff and need the space so start everything at 99p. Some good things have gone for the 99p which stings a little at first but when i realise the space we now have and the fact its helped me almost clear one debt in the space of just over a month that makes up for it!
Good luck with the listing and selling :)

I would also add that BIN items are selling well right now - sometimes people just want to know for sure they have got something rather than bidding especially if its for a pressie.
