Benefit for 2nd Child 2011/12 (1st Child now over 18)?

Morning everyone!
What is the position regarding benefit for a second child if the first is now of an age to not qualify for Child Benefit, please? Back in 2011/12, my partner's son was over 18 and not in education, but his daughter was 16 and at college. Would the payment for the daughter have remained at the rate for a second child, please?
Many thanks, folks x

when the child benefit stops for the eldest, the next child becomes the eldest qualifying so child benefit being 20+13 = 33, drops to £200
