Debenhams spectacular sales are % of whole departments. Most departments and most concessions take part. Items already on sale are usually double dipped with the extra departmental discount. Their other sales only apply to selected lines.

If you're looking for extra cheap clearance items then spectacular sales aren't usually the event for you. If you're after several items cheaper than normal for xmas then now is the time to buy.

There is no incompetence. The website is being throttled to manage the load due to how busy it is.

btw, its also not hosted internally by Debenhams, its hosted by pretty much the biggest possible company to host websites. They know what they're doing.

I thought I'd managed something a bit cheeky and I'm not so sure now. If u order something and if u buy x amount you get a free gwp, with debenhams does the gwp show on the email order confirmation, and on your order history in your account? If I've managed the bargain I'll share but I don't want to suggest something that hasn't worked lol!

Online order did not go through first time, so I ordered again. Now I have two confirmation e-mails with separate order numbers! Called last night and this morning to try to get an order cancelled but was told to return one to store when delivery arrives.... seeing as the order was for perfume, I don't like my chances of a straightforward refund!! Grrrrrrrr!!

For those looking for Christmas presents - as far as I'm aware - on Tuesday only there will be half price designer knitwear (including mens) & handbags. Then there will be 40% off pyjama sets, onesies & women's Winter bits (scarves, hats gloves etc) on Saturday only.

There's also other one day only offers but can't remember them off the top of my head, these ones were the most relevant to me though so I noted them down.

Just thought I'd share!

The other tuesday offer is half price designer bedlinen which includes supima plain dye. Could get some bargains!
