Hi Im looking at buying a pair of boots from this co with free uk delivery. I m checking out first to see how well theyre thought of but cant find any reviews was just wondering if anyone here has used them. The boots are supposed to be authentic but Im a bit wary as the discount is around 30% cheaper than other shops. I would appreciate an opinion from anyone who has used them. shrewdalx

Just typed discount footwear co review into Google and came up with this

Always worth checking Google and MSE!
  • My son purchased Dr Martens shoes1461z 29.1.14. Within six months the coating peeled off the shoes (I didn't think leather did this). Contacted the seller (after six months?) but having great difficulty getting him to take them back and refund the money. Contacted Trading Standards and they inform me that what I requested from the seller is fair and reasonable. I can't tell if these are original shoes or fake as the seller wants them both back to check. Trading Standards inform me that I only need to send one back which is fair and reasonable for where is my evidence if I send both back? In my opinion the latin term " caveat emptor" is applicable here. Unusal for a seller not to want to keep his customer happy; customer relations certainly suck!
    Good luck.
