Uniform Tax Rebate?

Options
Wondered if anyone who has had experience with this could help me-
I sent a letter to HMRC recently to claim a uniform tax rebate for the 2 years I've been with my employer, got a letter today from them with a new tax code for this tax year (up £60), just wondering if I'll hear anything from them about the previous tax year aswell? As nothing was mentioned in my coding letter. Thanks for any advice in advance :)

You can't adjust previous years tax - they have taken it, and the door closes on 1st April for adjustment via your tax code - the tax code you have can only influence the current tax year.

Any previous years rebates etc have to be done direct with the office through direct payments.

It may be worth hanging on at least a few days - a letter about a refund for a previous year would not necessarily have been issued the same day as the one you received,

If you've heard nothing by say next weekend start making enquiries
