Cheapest tea lights?

I know Ikea do 100 tea lights for a pound, but I don't live near one. Does anyone know of a shop or site that sells them that cheaply too? I am going to try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjhPUo0dQtw

They are £1.75 from Ikea now, Asda sell 100 for £2.00.

    Wilko's also have 100 for £2.

  • Depends on how you're actually defining 'cheapest.' I usually buy Ikea and find one tealight in my burner will last about 3- 4 hours. Am currently working my way through some Asda tealights I bought couple of months ago and each one is only lasting just over 1 hour. Looking at them 'properly' I can see they're actually not as 'dense' as the Ikea ones. Back to Ikea for me.
  • I'm hoping that someone I know will be making the trip to Ikea soon so I can ask them to get me some at the same time. Thanks for the info on the Asda ones.
  • Wilkos do them as well £2.00 for 100
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Not Buying it 2015!
  • As Savanah said I find the Ikea one's last the longest. You can buy them from Ebay, here is a link.

  • Thank you, I don't have a Wilkos here, not sure if there is one nearby at all either. I was hoping to spend as little as possible, £1.75 for 100 is do-able for me. Thanks for the link though.

I was going to say Ikea. Every time we go there I seem to have a bag and I now have enough tea lights to see us through power cuts for the foreseeable future!

Be aware that some of the cheapest are more fat than wax - they have a short burning time and are dirty burners. A good quality one will burn longer, brighter and cleaner :-)

The cheap ones also all seem to have holes in the metal containers and leak terribly (Sainsbury's basics, I'm looking at you). You get an hour or so of light and then another hour's 'entertainment' chipping the wax out of everything ...
