I ordered my Christmas bird from the butchers today.:) What bird will you be having at the centre of the table this year?
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

Goodness knows, it's still six and a half weeks away, I barely know what I'll fancy for dinner next week, but I doubt very much it will be a bird of any description.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Sausage - they boys have asked for "Toad in the Hole" - and as its Christmas day its their choice.
Not quite a Scrooge as we have our dinner on Xmas Eve - but we are waiting to find out how our guest is getting on after open heart surgery so will decide closer to the time.

None. Dont eat meat and my mum and I usually get a takeaway on Xmas Eve and Xmas Day.0

I'll be at my parents' on Christmas day, so it's up to them. Sometime between Christmas and New Year I'll be cooking a goose for all my friends though, that'll be fun!0

I'm not keen on turkey or chicken and I'm the only meat-eater in the house, so it won't be a big Christmas bird.. I used to like duck with hoisin sauce, but I don't think my cooking skills are quite up to it , so I'll have to think of something else.0

We usually have chicken and pork, or a three bird roast as no-one else but me really likes turkey. However last year I insisted on buying a turkey leg which was huge but only cost £3. There was plenty of meat on it and everyone ate it as it wasn't dry, and there was still enough left over for the obligatory curry!0

Goose.
Traditionalists. .
We've had beef before, and when we have had very big parties for Christmas both a goose and a turkey, but I think its awful, I'd rather do two birds the same, preferably geese.0 -
i dont eat meat but think will do goose for OH and DS. Howevefr OH is at work on right over Christmas until the 30th so dont know whether to have a full Christmas dinner on Christmas day or another day, wont decide fully until I know what time he is finishing.
