Facebook advise needed please

Hi everyone -
When I first starting comping I set up a separate facebook account purely for comping and my personal one (which i never used) purely for personal friends....
I am now more and more using my personal account and a few of my local friends and relations are starting to comp too....
To make things easier and prevent any issues with people thinking I'm duplicating entries etc I want to merge the two accounts.... can this be done?? I want to keep the majority of my comping friends as they've all been great over the last couple of years but not sure on the best way to do it..... is it a case of re-sending friend requests from my personal account?? Also when I've done that how do I close my old facebook account .....????
Any advise would be welcome -
Thanks KJ xx

    I've been Money Tipped!
You are really only allowed 1 account and could have both closed if they were to find out , so I would think it very unlikely that you would be able to merge them, maybe post the link to the one you want to keep open on your other accounts wall and ask your friends from that to send you a friends request would probably be the best way to go about it.

Yes I naively set it up a couple of years ago but have realised recently - especially with all the complaints about cheating etc thats it not allowed which is why I want to close one now and only use my personal one.... thanks for the advise x
