Can you do this with avios too. I got a daughter in Australia and would love exchange my tesco points to avios and give them to her. We looked into it but couldnt find a way to do it.

    tia :)

I think the way to do it is for you to open an avios account and then convert your tesco points to avios (if possible wait for tesco to do their offers of 800-900 avios for £2.50 in deals rather than their usual 600 avios for £2.50). The recipient then also has to have an avios account. Then you can transfer your avios to the recipient.

This is how you do it with a BA executive account. Avios will have an almost identical scheme but worth comparing the 2 because there can be little differences. BTW you are allowed to have a BA exec club account and an avios.com account but only one of each per person.

The other way is if you both live at the same address ;), you can open a household account and then anyone who is part of the household account can spend miles that any of you have contributed. You have to be careful here because you will need a credit card to pay for taxes on flights and the address on the credit card will need to match the address for that person on the household account, which will need to be the same as that registered.....

Might have to wait a few months for that. ;)

Not sure how quickly bungalow will sell but solicitor did tell me yesterday market is buoyant now. And properties from deceased estates they were dealing with that were not selling Easter time have finally sold so he reckoned new stock will be sought after. :)

Hopefully it will be sold soon and for a good price. When you get the ring, it will be a lovely thing to remember your mum by, you will be able to stroke it and think of her (I do this with my bracelet)
