Went to Goa 20 years or so ago , glad i visited then as some reports on a well know tourist rating site state many places are litter strewn and lots of football bars full of drunken yobs , I can get that at home .:(

I go to Goa every year...never seen a footie hooligan in all the times I've been...we go to Candolim...a lovely quiet area away from the touristy spots...Baga and Calangute are quite busy and not too clean they are the main tourist destinations

Afternoon :)just popped in quick before I get ready to go off out for my Afternoon Cream tea with friends:T I could not remember who it was on the thread apart from DDLala who loves Laura Ashley and wanted to say I have just come back from my local one and they have a 30%off sale:jNeedless to say I took advantage of this and purchased four lovely Duckegg blue check dining chair cushions to compliment my newly decorated kitchen diner. Also a couple off rolls of wallpaperthat ended up costing £4-20 a roll and I am sure I can put them to good use somewhere at that price.

Me too...scrolling down and read ''prices may go up during your plan''

Although they would presumably have to give you advance notice of this

Advance notice of your £8/month price plan going "up" to £8?

Good luck to everyone that has rolled the dice

I wombled a £50+ A receipt with nothing but spirits on it. It's all cheaper in T but not enough items for APG :(

    Good afternoon :)

Good news, my OH rang to say that Brian finally rolled up. Covered in oil or something similar  and starving hungry, but otherwise ok. Phew! OH is currently having fun trying to remove the oily stuff.

With all my worry over Brian this morning I forgot to wish Miffie well for her op. Sorry Miffie :o hopefully you'll be home and catching up by this evening :)

Why would anyone want grapes on a butty? I was late for lunch and the only butty left was Brie and grapes. Yes I get Brie and grapes.....but on a butty? Had a doughnut instead :D

    Have a good afternoon :)

Have to say I adore brie and grape baguettes :D
