Are the crisps walkers 20 x 25gm classic & meaty variety, 1 of each or 2 of the same please?
Sorry to hear QOC bad news at Asda.
I rang Tesco yesterday to complain I was refused DTD yet again (even though I carry a print out email of coupon and DTD with me), only to be told 'You are known to Tesco'.
'Yes (I replied) its because no stores offer the DTD you advertise, and if it happens again I'll call again'.
I only ever call if they make an obvious mistake and won't honour it.
The other day they added £9 on bill instead of deleting it, then said it wasn't an overcharge it was a mistake!

You could use custom cell formats in Excel, then pull the number apart in cells to the right to get the "/" added.
Go to format cell, custom, create a custom format that is simply 8 0's - this will allow you to have "leading zeros" in the cell. Then put 00000000 in first cell, 00000001 in second, drag down all the way to copy downwards until you get to 99999999.
Then you just need to pop the "001" and "/"'s into the final output.

To do this, pull the first 4 digits out in one cell to the right (using for example the "mid" command (=mid(a1,1,4)), the next 2 into the next cell, the last 2 into another, and use concatenate command to join them (=concatenate(A2,"/001/",A3,"/",A4,").

Or just type 1,2,3,4,5 drag down to however many you need and set a custom formatting to show them as 001, 002, 003

    Custom format command is #,000

and then concatenate (but I would do it differently to above :rotfl:)

I think I'd better get my big red cross out (or possibly the one I [Strike]steal[/Strike] borrow from Aau1).

Not absolutely correct that any store could ban anyone for "any" reason. If the reason was your sex or race they 'couldn't' (of course, they "could" but it would be illegal so in that sense "couldn't"), or if the reason they wanted someone to leave was connected to their disability (or, presumably, presumed disability);)?:D, also that perhaps wouldn't, in a word used occasionally by store staff members themselves, be "allowed".

On that basis Savvy, could you not claim that your Aspergers is a disability requiring you to write down prices in advance of a future shopping trip. Therefore you are being discriminated against?

Hope that has not come across in a disrespectful way....

Good point - I assumed the 001 bit was the constant, and the x's were the bit that varied :) Much easier if it's your way around :)

Whichever it is, I think that between us we'll be able to help
