Sunny scunny
And that's even a worse connotation. So - "cunny" is alright (it must be as the forum hasn't seen to exclamation it out) and yet the four letters we can't write in that order aren't?
"Cunny" means [the C word], or vagina. It's offensive! Or is there something that I am completely missing or that I am missing the point on here?
No, we weren't talking about ladies' private parts when we were talking about the placename affectionately known as "Scunny". Only the system got us (or me?) into this. Why? It now gives the whole thing (including the affectionate shortening of the placename) a different connotation that it never had or even brought to mind before. The counterproductive nature of censorship - drawing attention to the matter it seeks, ineffectively, to suppress and helping to widen and further offence much farther than would ever have been so without it.0 -
If this is the case then am I correct in thinking if I bought 11 strawberry yoghurt and 1 other the APG system would see I had bought 10 and 1 and therefore think I had paid £7.90 for the 10 and compare to T at 10 for £6?? If this is right then think I might get some dessert jars in xx
Exactly Emma, you would also get an extra 8p APG for the +1
(you could just get 12 strawberry yoghurt if that's the only one you use, would still compare £7.90 v £6, I've been buying 11+1 for the extra pennies :rotfl:)0 -

Many years ago I had a funny rattling noise coming from under the bonnet of my old shed of a Metro , I was staying with friends in Derbyshire and we had gone to Meadowhall shopping.
Called the AA out (did our shopping in the meantime), very nice man came and opened the bonnet...to my utter shame the bonnet stay had come loose and was rattling:o:o
