We're all odd in our own way (another circular??;):rotfl:) and all in our own bubble with things meaning to us whatever they mean to us.

Oh, regarding "fit in" I certainly wasn't referring to this thread, but RL - social situations!

As regards not ever getting upset, not even a miracle like me can avoid doing that at times. It's a little saddening I suppose - and easy for me and people with my condition to be described as being "sad", lacking a life, need to get out more etc. - but actually I do go out to work's dos etc., in fact delete the 'etc.':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: as that's all of when I go out (in the 'party' sense thing:rotfl:) but it explains why no-one is attracted to me and is attracted by body language linkages no doubt to everyone else! They always all go and end up chatting to each other in their own groups. That's what it's like! Or, as happened the other day, you'll be talking to someone, someone else will come into the room and the person you were talking to will do a sudden and illogical change of subject, completely on something else, doubtless trivial, and in response to the other person and then they'll keep chatting to each other and walk off!

Hang on... I hadn't finished yet! Totally ignoring me - and doubtless completely unaware that I hadn't quite finished my point. Come on - I told them, I'll have to talk to you more about it later (so it was hardly the 'make others bored and be totally oblivious to fact you are doing so' situation), I just had a final short sentence to clarify/correct what I'd said. But in comes someone else and immediately they're talking about some stupid cheese recipe or other.:rotfl::rotfl: (With apologies to people on here, with similar things, but at least on this thread it's sort of in-topic and relevant, as opposed to being totally unrelated to what I was telling the person.)

Perhaps my body language (of which I am totally unaware) 'told' them, quite wrongly, that I'd finished and they could leave. Tsk...non-autistic people..just haven't the attention span at all have they and can't discuss or ever gain knowledge on a subject that they started off talking with you about. Really, what's the point talking to me (they initiated it) and then getting the incomplete of a reply and then suddenly losing your attention and going onto trivia without ever having the attention span to be able to listen to and learn the full answer to what you intimated you wanted to know?

Normal people - sorry folks as that's likely to be you - ...tsk.. lacking attention span and inability to gain knowledge that might actually be extremely useful.

I hope you enjoyed our conversation, it was interesting and enjoyable
