My dinner party was lovely. Doesn't dinner party sound so posh:rotfl:

nearly had a major problem. I had started to defrost gammon when I realised they had said no to pork:o
So quickly made a big roasting dish full of new pots,garlic and red onion and added chicken marinated in honey,lemon and herbs. Served up with greens. I thought they might think I was odd if I took a photo of their dinner:rotfl:

I now have a crazy day ahead. Village fair this morning. Dark velv might remember my purchase at the last one:) followed by my ironing party. Food to make etc.........then I need to get to the shops.

Gorgeous day in Durham. Here's what my guests brought me last night.:j
