On a more appropriate note, can I please ask what success (if any) people have had with the chocolates and triggers ? I've made a few little boo boos this week and could do with not making any more !

Only got tomorrow cos I'm off to Valkenburg very early on Sunday for the Christmas markets.

I was just reading about high functioning sufferers of autism today :) again :D ( I personally don't like the word sufferers)

You're getting into sensory problems again. I have a little of the bright lights problem. LOADS of the noise problem (window slamming in the summer if anyone dares turn their lawn mower on :D)

By far our biggest sensory problems are hair and nails. He claims that both cause pain when being cut :( it's not a good time here when nails or hair get too long :(:(

This sounds so much like my DS. It has taken us 3 years to get his hair cut without a fuss and we have to go to same barbers with the same man. Also when having nails cut he screams the place down and cry's so much he is nearly sick.

Hospital was as expected today. Diagnosed with an ASD and possibly Asperges. I wanted to go into more detail as know he is suffering from anxiety but we did not have time.

Do people think if I have 2-3 questions I could email it over to the paediatrician and he could respond in the next few weeks?

ASD service will be making contact with me soon and then coming around here and going into school.

DS school have never had to deal with anybody like him before and have been truly lost as to what they need to do. Speaking to his INA this is the first Asperges diagnosis in the school and with the right behavioural strategies it should get a lot easier from here.

    (Am probably spelling Asperges wrong)

Lots of research from now on at least I know where to look for help now xxxx :)
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go
